Daily Gratitude – Day 696

On this day set aside particularly to give thanks, I have to say that I Am truly grateful for everything in my life – the ups, the downs, the triumphs, the mistakes, all that I have, all that I’ve lost, all that I will receive and all that is beyond my reach. I Am grateful for it all, for all of it continues to shape – or, rather, reveal – who I Am; It is the course of my life – the journey toward complete understanding of the Truth of All Things.

I Am particularly grateful for the events of this past year. On New Year’s Day, I declared that 2014 would be the year of all possibilities. I had no idea what I was opening myself up to – my marriage ending, my boys taken from me, so many friends inexplicably turning their backs on me, having another family share my home, a new relationship with an old and dear childhood friend and being welcomed warmly by her family, the many opportunities for creating wealth, especially the enormous increase in the amount of weddings I perform and the start of my career as a benefits consultant, and the advanced education of my own personal development… Never in a million years would I guess that any of that would be possible 11 months ago. (Well, maybe the weddings!) And while much of it was not pleasant to endure, it has opened my eyes to many vast discoveries, and influenced many great changes in my life.

I Am grateful as well for this day, which included a wonderful feast hosted by Amy’s daughter Heather and her husband Colin, at which I got to see Amy’s parents and siblings for the first time in decades. We had so much fun tonight!

Finally I Am grateful for all of the possibilities that lie ahead – the possibilities that I now decide to create in full consciousness and determination.

Blessed Be, And So It Is.

Namaste,
Brian

1 Response to Daily Gratitude – Day 696

  1. I am extremely grateful that I got to spend Thanksgiving with my son and his girlfriend’s family.A year ago my son had not spoken to me in 2 years for unknown reasons and his personality was extremely challenging for me to deal with; Today he is in a great relationship with a very loving and successful young woman who has a wonderful supportive family who made me feel very welcome. I am beyond grateful to them for the positive influence they have had on my son. He is no longer gambling online .Now he is doing well as a real estate agent and is taking better care of himself. He treats me with love and respect. I could not have predicted such a miraculous change in such a short time. I am sitting in tremendous gratitude as I ponder the whole situation and the dramatic changes that have occurred. I hope this story will give hope to others who may be experiencing estrangement from family members. I am also grateful my health is good and I was able to enjoy a delicious dinner. I think back to a few years ago when I had so many digestive problems caused by taking too many antibiotics and couldn’t eat and lost 25 pounds. As they say, when you have your health, you have just about everything.
