Today I Am grateful for another day of standardized patient work at Rutgers, this time working with nursing students, and for the fact that I have had more opportunities to work there lately.
I Am also grateful for getting to see the boys for a short while during their dentist appointment, and playing a video game with David, during which he whooped my butt several times.
I Am grateful as well for a great class at CSLNJ, during which we prepared for the Sunday Celebration we are leading this weekend and engaged in some great conversations in preparation for our upcoming exams.
I Am grateful further for the reminder of how important it is for me to be my fully expressed, authentic self.
Finally I Am grateful for the reminder of how important it is to be grateful for everything that benefits my life, thanks to Rev. Michelle Wadleigh’s “40 Days to Freedom” program, including, to quote this morning’s email, “Those who were there when my mother gave birth, those who taught those who helped my mother give birth. Those who pave the roads I drive on to get to my children, to work and to worship. Those who plant corn and kale and grow chickens for my meals.” (Okay, so I’ll thank those who grow the cows and pigs for my meals, and the cows and pigs that unwittingly sacrifice their lives for my sustenance – may their spirits be free to evolve through their continuing spiritual journey as mine evolves as well.)
I Am looking forward to an amazing tomorrow, filled with love and joy, prosperity and abundance, creation and completion, new possibilities and new realities. I anticipate ending the day in complete satisfaction, knowing that only good is coming to me. It is going to be the best day of my life, and I Am grateful for tomorrow today!
And So It Is.
