Daily Gratitude – Day 1632

Today I Am grateful for the fact that my “little sister” Erica made it up to New Jersey from North Carolina, and that I will get to see her this weekend.

I Am also grateful for another good – and seemingly quick – day at Rutgers. I was a bit tired, so the fact that the day didn’t seem to drag was a rather nice thing!

I Am grateful as well for a wonderful lunch with my cousin Ellie, who works in close proximity to where I was today, and for the plans we are making to see her mother (my Great Aunt Jo), whom I haven’t seen in years.

I Am grateful further for a rather fantastic dinner I made for myself tonight – ground beef sauteed in toasted sesame oil with garlic, oregano, paprika, curry, pepper, soy sauce, green pepper and broccoli. De-freakin-lish!

Finally I Am grateful for a relaxing evening at home, watching TV while folding laundry. No meetings. No classes. No appointments. No pushing myself to work (well, I did write one wedding ceremony and followed up with a few emails, but nothing over the top). A minister friend of mine once said, “Some people watch TV like it’s their job.” Me? I should be watching TV as part of my job – or my upcoming job/career that is. So relaxing in front of the tube was great way to end a good day!

I Am looking forward to an amazing tomorrow, filled with love and joy, prosperity and abundance, creation and completion, new possibilities and new realities. I anticipate ending the day in complete satisfaction, knowing that only good is coming to me. It is going to be the best day of my life, and I Am grateful for tomorrow today!

And So It Is.
