Today I Am grateful for another great day focused (in part, at least) around my kids, beginning with a 7am morning minyan at their temple in which Jacob read an aliyah as part of his upcoming Bar Mitzvah.
I Am also grateful for another day of expected and unexpected prosperity.
I Am grateful as well for having the ability to pick up the boys, coming home to feed them, cutting my hair, taking a shower, and getting to Jacob’s Bar mitzvah rehearsal in two hours’ time.
I Am grateful further for my friend Dana, who I hired to do photography for us tonight and Saturday, and who offered for her wife to help out with the video recording on Saturday as my original videographer was unable to make it.
Finally I Am grateful for getting to see Jacob read his dvar Torah (a lesson around the Torah reading he’ll be doing Saturday). As someone who has recently become a spiritual teacher, I am awestruck, amazed and so insanely proud of my young man! His words are insightful and introspective, and exquisitely crafted! He brings up things that are far deeper than I suspected that he contemplates, and I look forward to talking with him more about his thoughts and ideas.
I Am grateful for NOW, the only moment there is, metaphysically speaking, knowing everything I could possibly want is in existence NOW and is in my grasp NOW. In respect to this physical plane in which we use “clock time” to measure the Eternal Now, I Am looking forward to an amazing tomorrow, filled with love and joy, prosperity and abundance, creation and completion, new possibilities and new realities. I anticipate ending the day in complete satisfaction, knowing that only good comes to me, always. It is going to be the best day of my life, and I Am grateful for tomorrow today!
And So It Is.
