Seven years ago, on a dark, stormy Friday night, my life was unexpectedly changed forever.
Today I Am grateful for the most kindest, sweetest, smartest, brilliant, talented, funniest, insightful, inspirational, spiritual and lovable 7-year-old I have ever known… my beloved son David.
I Am also grateful for all of the people who have made some sort of impact or influence on his life, allowing him to learn, develop and grow into the person he was always meant to be – the person he always was and has been becoming to know as himself.
I Am grateful as well for my spiritual Center for being the place where he wanted to go on his birthday – a place that puts such a high priority on the welfare of its children, even if they are just spending time together playing video games or doing something on their devices. An astonishing choice for a young man who is so devout and proud of his Judaism.
I Am grateful further for my family, who had the chance to celebrate this day with us – and see my apartment for the first time!
Finally I Am grateful for the honor and pleasure of being this wonderful boy’s father. I just hope I can teach him half of what he has taught me…
I Am grateful for NOW, the only moment there is, metaphysically speaking, knowing everything I could possibly want is in existence NOW and is in my grasp NOW. In respect to this physical plane in which we use “clock time” to measure the Eternal Now, I Am looking forward to an amazing tomorrow, filled with love and joy, prosperity and abundance, creation and completion, new possibilities and new realities. I anticipate ending the day in complete satisfaction, knowing that only good comes to me, always. It is going to be the best day of my life, and I Am grateful for tomorrow today!
And So It Is.
